Gospel artist Yaw Sarpong addresses the harsh accusations made by his ex-wife

 In response to recent allegations made by his ex-wife Adwoa Pinamang that he is having romantic relations with Tiwaa, a fellow artist and partner, gospel musician Yaw Sarpong has answered.

When the separated wife disclosed in an interview with Oyerapa FM that she had been unable to care for her ailing husband, it caused a great deal of controversy in the previous few days.

In addition, she charged Tiwaa with kidnapping her spouse and using his family's backing to pretend to be a wife.

In response to the allegations, Yaw Sarpong—who hasn't been feeling well lately—noted that his marriage ended 20 years ago when Pinamang abandoned him and their kids.

Yaw Sarpong clarified that their union was not legally recognized, citing that he only conducted customary ceremonies in which he offered a bible, soft drinks, and a ring. The seasoned musician detailed how Adwoa Pinamang abandoned him and their children and moved to Kumasi during his critical illness. He revealed that he has not communicated with Adwoa Pinamang for the previous twenty years, which makes her recent assertions that she is the legitimate wife and that she is working to rebuild their marriage and take care of him astonishing. He implied that Adwoa Pinamang's rekindled interest could be influenced by the GH¢100,000 gift he received from Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

He said that even though he has moved on, he still plans to settle all unresolved matters with his ex-wife in a cordial manner.
